These creatures are gentle, they mean us no harm
Slashed fully conscious, on the rot farm
All of their suffering is unimaginable
Cold-hearted world, apathy unfathomable
Stripped of their lifespan, of their natural grace
A product of the market that you create
Unmatched in their sadness, unmatched in their pain
Your taste for dominion has made things this way

Mothers lay in beds of their own waste
Drained as their children are taken away
Mighty beasts lay weak and afraid

Brought in this world to be slaughtered someday
They dare to call this exploitation humane
The rot farmer licks the blood from his blade

These creatures are clever, loving and full of life
They feel what we feel, fear the impending knife
Some given cages, some packed in crowded rooms
All of them destined to face an untimely doom

On and on, the bovine tread
Comforting each other, the fowl rest
Full of compassion, the boar distressed
Rotting from their hooks, their loved ones dead
Misery is all they’ve ever known
A bloody, rotting farm their only home
This is no place for an animal
This is unneeded, unnatural
